FLAVORED MOUTH TABLETS FOR ORAL AND THROAT AREA
The Tantum Verde ® lozenges with lemon flavor are used in the mouth and throat area for the treatment of pain and irritation . With their anti-inflammatory properties, the lozenges belong to the group of anti-inflammatory drugs. Tantum Verde ® has a local anesthetic effect, that is, it specifically numbs the pain in the mouth and throat. The drug with the active ingredient benzydamine relieves pain quickly 2 and ensures freedom from symptoms for up to 3 hours. 3 The Tantum Verde ® lozenges are also available in the flavors mint and orange-honey.

AREAS OF APPLICATION OF TANTUM VERDE ®LOOSE TABLETS
The anti-inflammatory and local anesthetic effect of Tantum Verde ® lozenges is suitable for a number of areas of application. In addition to sore throats (such as sore throat caused by a viral cold, light scratching or burning sensation in the throat), this also includes irritated airways, the symptoms of which are hoarseness. In addition, Tantum Verde ® lozenges are suitable for treating pain and irritation in the mouth, for example caused by hot food and drinks or hard food components. Furthermore, Tantum Verde ® can be used for inflammation of the mucous membranes with painful blisters (aphthous stomatitis), inflammation in the mouth (mucositis) and difficulty swallowing.
RECOMMENDED USE
For adults and children from 6 years of age, the usual dose is 3 Tantum Verde ® lozenges per day. In children between 6 and 11 years of age, the medicine should be taken under adult supervision. Let the lozenges slowly dissolve in your mouth. They should not be swallowed or chewed. No more than 3 lozenges should be used per day, and the intake should not be longer than 7 days. If you don't feel better or even worse after 3 days, contact your doctor.
If there is an intolerance to certain sugars, the drug should only be used after consulting a doctor.
TANTUM VERDE ®LUCKY TABLETS FOR COLD
In the case of a cold, an infection of the upper respiratory tract, symptoms of a sore throat, cough and hoarseness can occur in addition to a runny nose. On average, two to four infections occur in adults each year, especially in autumn and winter. Children can get eight to ten colds a year. 4 The Tantum Verde ® lozenges have a local anesthetic effect, effectively inhibit irritation in the mouth and throat and lead to rapid pain relief.
TREATMENT OF Hoarseness
Hoarseness is caused by an overload of the voice. Speaking is associated with exertion, and it is not uncommon for it to burn or pressure in the larynx. The vocal folds redden and swell due to the heavy use. 5 Ignoring hoarseness risks further damage such as slackening of the vocal cords. The Tantum Verde ® lozenges have an anti-inflammatory effect against irritation in the throat.
INFLAMMATION OF THE ORAL MUCOSA
Inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis) can be a secondary symptom of an infection or systemic disease, or it can appear as an independent clinical picture without an identifiable cause. Women are more often affected by so-called "aphthae" than men. 6th The local treatment with the Tantum Verde ® lozenges alleviates the symptoms, which mainly include a strong burning sensation in the oral mucosa.
