SanaCutan® Base Cream
SanaCutan basic cream is used to treat eczema and skin inflammations, especially as a basic therapy for atopic dermatitis. The cream contains 20% glycerin for intensive rehydration of dry skin. This natural moisturizing factor, unlike urea, is non-irritating and does not cause a burning sensation on the skin.

How does SanaCutan® base cream work?
SanaCutan Base Cream improves the skin's protective function, which largely depends on the skin's moisture level.
SanaCutan Base Cream contains the natural moisturizing factor glycerin at a concentration of 20%. This, together with the high water content of the cream, provides intensive rehydration for dry skin. The skin barrier is improved and the skin's protective function is restored.
How is SanaCutan® base cream applied?
SanaCutan Base Cream is applied to the affected skin areas 1-3 times daily and gently rubbed in.
With a 30% fat content, SanaCutan Base Cream is very pleasant to spread on the skin and absorbs quickly. It is free of perfume, dyes, and lanolin. SanaCutan Base Cream is extremely well tolerated and can be used from birth.

SanaCutan® Base Cream/Base Ointment. Corticosteroid-free cream or ointment base for use in interval treatment of skin conditions treated with corticosteroid-containing ointments or creams, such as eczema and dermatitis, as well as psoriasis (base ointment only).
The base cream is particularly suitable for the treatment of acute, weeping skin conditions. The base ointment is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic skin conditions in dry skin. The ingredients cetylstearyl alcohol, potassium sorbate, and sorbic acid contained in the base cream may cause localized skin irritation (e.g., contact dermatitis).
