Dicostop treatment of chronic and acute diarrhea 10 sachets
The Dicostop medical device , available in single-use sachets, is intended for the oral treatment of chronic and acute diarrhea, as well as pain associated with gastrointestinal disorders.
Diosmectite
is a natural clay with a structure of thin, overlapping crystalline plates, possessing high absorptive capacity. This allows for the absorption of fluids present in the intestinal lumen, along with bacteria and viruses, thickening stool consistency, and slowing excretion. The diosmectite contained in Dicostop
binds to the glycoproteins of the mucous layer covering the gastrointestinal wall, changing their physical properties, creating an absorbent gel that protects against excessive acid secretion and stomach irritants, and also acts as a barrier against inflammatory mechanisms.
Ingredients:
diosmectite (1.5 g), purified water, EDTA, karaya gum, sodium methylparaben, sucrose esters of fatty acids, flavorings, citric acid, sodium benzoate, sucralose.
Directions for use:
Children 6-12 years of age: 1 sachet 2-3 times daily.
Children 1-6 years of age: 1 sachet 1-2 times daily.
Each sachet should only be used once after opening.
Knead the contents of the sachet vigorously before opening.
The product can be taken directly or dissolved in a glass of water or other beverages (juice, yogurt).
After opening, the contents of the sachet should be consumed in their entirety; the product is for single use. Any remaining solution should not be consumed later in the day.
For small children, the contents of the sachet can be given in a feeding bottle, mixed with 50 ml of water or another beverage, divided into 2-3 doses throughout the day.
Dicostop can also be added to semi-liquid foods. It is recommended to take Dicostop between meals.
In the treatment of acute diarrhea, oral rehydration solution (ORS) should be used to prevent dehydration.
