Troxerutin is a semi-synthetic flavonoid derivative of o- b -hydroxyethylrututoside. Has an anti-sublime effect and seals the walls of blood vessels. It improves the rheological parameters of the blood and shows antioxidant properties. After oral administration, it is absorbed in 15-20%. T 0.5 is 18-25 h. About 30% is bound to plasma proteins. It is excreted mainly with faeces and bile.
Preparation of natural origin traditionally used to improve the symptoms of inferior veins in the legs: feeling of tension, tiredness and heaviness in the legs, tingling, pain, nocturnal calf cramps, edema of the limbs.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Children up to 12 years of age (no tests).
Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Due to the lack of tests, it should not be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
