Decongestant nasal sprays, such as hysan® Nasal Spray, work quickly and reliably for a blocked nose. However, their use should be limited to a maximum of seven days. Prolonged use of decongestant nasal sprays can damage or, in the worst case, even lead to atrophy of the nasal mucosa.
Directions:
Only use hysan® saline spray if the carton seal was intact before first use. Remove the cap before each use. Press the pump until the solution is dispensed (usually 1-2 times). The system is then ready for each subsequent use. Insert the spray nozzle into the nostril and pump once, inhaling gently. Spray 1-2 times into each nostril several times a day as needed. For hygiene reasons, wipe the nasal adapter after each use and replace the protective cap. The spray should only be used by one person.
