It also contains alkaloids, melatonin, phenols, flavonoids, derivatives of cinnamic and ferulic acid, as well as mineral salts, which are abundant in water-soluble silica gel (bio silicon) - about 2%. Bio silicon relieves inflammatory conditions of the epidermis and facilitates its regeneration, shrinks and gives elasticity to connective tissue, thus having a firming and toning effect on the skin.
