Vitamin K2 Vida contains biofermentatively produced vitamin K2 in the MK7 all-trans form. It contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. The vitamin K2 is obtained from bacteria through a fermentation process and contains no chemicals or solvent residues. It consists of over 99% menaquinone-7 (=MK7) in the trans structure and is therefore all-trans. Vitamin K2 Vida contains no allergens or soy, no additives or preservatives, and is vegan. It is not produced using genetic engineering and is completely GMO-free. Vitamin K2 (also known as menaquinone) is a vital, fat-soluble vitamin, approximately half of which is produced by the bacteria in the gut flora in a healthy body and the other half is absorbed through food. However, production in the gut only functions with a healthy gut flora and an intact microbiome.
