The FAKTU lind suppositories with witch hazel are exclusively for rectal use and are therefore particularly suitable for nighttime or when traveling. The suppositories work quickly, inhibit inflammation, and promote wound healing, thereby relieving itching and burning. Additionally, witch hazel relieves milder and persistent symptoms of hemorrhoids, such as weeping.

After insertion into the anus, the suppositories melt slowly due to body heat, continuously releasing the natural active ingredient directly at the site of irritation. The herbal active ingredient from Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) has a broad spectrum of action and combats various hemorrhoid symptoms simultaneously:

How are hemorrhoid suppositories used?
The best time to use hemorrhoid suppositories is after a bowel movement. To use, pull the foil of the suppository apart at the top ends so that the suppository can be easily removed. Since the skin in the anal area is sensitive, insertion should be slow and gentle. Short fingernails offer additional protection against further injury.
How deep should hemorrhoid suppositories be inserted?
The hemorrhoidal suppositories should not be inserted too far into the anal canal; they should only reach the first or second finger joint. The suppository should still be palpable with the fingertip.
